We're a farm

We went to the market with:
lettuce (three-and-a-quarter pounds), peas (three pounds), and (three adorable)bunches of baby radishes. People snapped them up! Snappy snappy snow peas.

The Small Planet Institute (arisen from the Lappé family) has a website called Take a Bite out of Climate Change about the connection between food production/consumption and climate change. They're really big on organic farming and have a blog and a ton of resources on how one can go about making a change in their food consumption and participating in the alternate food chain.
